Lindsay knew her life's work would be complete by supporting women prenatally, during labor, and throughout the postpartum period.
Hi, my name is Lindsay!
Lindsay has been a dedicated birth and postpartum doula serving families since 2014. Her journey into birth and postpartum support began after a significant biking accident. This experience highlighted Lindsay's ability to stay calm, steadfast and resilient in the face of adversity, skills she now passionately offers her clients bringing positive and calming energy during challenging physical and emotional experiences.
After breaking her leg, Lindsay’s healing process started physically through yoga, which helped her realign and reintegrate her whole body. This physical transformation brought profound emotional healing as well. Through countless hours on the yoga mat, Lindsay connected deeply with her true calling: to work with women and children. This innate desire became abundantly clear as she started on her doula path. The transformative experience of breaking her leg to discover her true path has become a powerful metaphor in her life, resonating in many areas, including birth. As she often reflects, "When we crack, break, surrender, open, that's when the light shines through us brightest.” Serving others has become a profound way to give back and support her community.
My Doula Journey
The beauty and mysticism of birth captivated Lindsay. Recognizing that birth is the beginning of all things, she believes every woman deserves to feel seen, heard, and fully supported as they undertake the incredible work of bringing life into the world. Connecting women to their innate birthing wisdom became a driving passion, leading her to study with DONA, Doulas of North America, train with a Doula mentor, and join the doula group Birth Assistance on Boulder in Boulder, Colorado. After attending many births, her passion for supporting new families expanded to the sacred postpartum window – a precious time for bonding and immense need for supportive hands. Lindsay knew her life's work would be complete by supporting women prenatally, during labor, and throughout the postpartum period. Now a resident in Carbondale Colorado, Lindsay brings experience and wisdom to new families in the Roaring Fork Valley.
For Lindsay, witnessing a baby's first breath is one of life's most beautiful and sacred moments. She feels deeply honored and privileged to support each family as they embark on the transformative journey of parenthood. Now a mother of two children of her own, she brings a wealth of passion, education, and personal experience to her work.
